Ripship are a sci-fi psych-rock duo, now based in Melbourne, Australia, who since 2019 have
been questing to become the loudest two-piece band in the Southern Hemisphere. With a room-
shaking, battle-tested live performance, Ripship have headlined multiple nation-wide tours across
New Zealand, and have opened for rock royalty such as Jack White and Osees.
Every Ripship song is a unique trip: sugary hooks wax and wane to reveal wonky polyrhythmic
grooves, guitar tones that growl and shimmer, and lyrics that loop in infinite recursion, spelling
omens for the end of the world.
