Music In Low Frequencies

Formed in 2012, Music In Low Frequencies, is a gathering of
three old friends that thrive throughout the music they create
together. They were born from the desire of making something
meaningfully intimate with hints of the harshness of our times.
With that being said, it is understandable that their sound is
charged with gloomy melodies, heavy riffs and doom tunes.
They released their first album “Sowing the seed” in 2014 and
promoted it through Europe, headlining some shows and also
playing in some important festivals in Portugal and other
smaller showcases. They went through a period of time where
creation was delayed by some other important matters, but
soon time passed and new melodies started to follow. Music in
low frequencies felt they wanted to go deeper down the rabbit
hole as they started to feel the urge for darker and sludgier
notes. They refine and redefine their sound and “Catharsis” is
born. Resembling the atmosphere of these past times, this
album is the result of a period of darkness, reflection,
contemplation of the soul and purgation of the spirits and it
hopes to embrace all the heavy spirits we have within our
minds and put them to rest. “Catharsis” wishes to indulge all
the senses whatsoever, and purge all the demons we carry
through our music. “Catharis” is soon to be released in due time,
brace yourselves for what is coming.

Formado en 2012, Music In Low Frequencies es un grupo de tres viejos amigos que disfrutan creando música juntos. Nacieron del deseo de crear algo íntimo y significativo, con toques de la dureza de nuestros tiempos.
Por ello, es comprensible que su sonido esté cargado de melodías sombrías, riffs potentes y temas de doom metal.
Lanzaron su primer álbum, “Sowing the seed”, en 2014 y lo promocionaron por Europa, encabezando algunos conciertos y participando en importantes festivales de Portugal y otros eventos más pequeños. Atravesaron un periodo en el que la creación se vio retrasada por otros asuntos importantes, pero pronto el tiempo pasó y surgieron nuevas melodías. Music in Low Frequencies sintió la necesidad de profundizar en su sonido, explorando notas más oscuras y densas. Refinaron y redefinieron su estilo, dando origen a “Catharsis”. Este álbum, que evoca la atmósfera de tiempos pasados, es fruto de un periodo de oscuridad, reflexión, contemplación del alma y purificación espiritual. Busca liberar a todos los espíritus pesados ​​que albergamos en nuestra mente y dejarlos en paz. «Catharsis» pretende deleitar todos los sentidos y exorcizar los demonios que llevamos dentro a través de nuestra música. «Catharsis» se lanzará próximamente; prepárense para lo que viene.
