MITRAILLE BIO (ESPAÑOL)La ciudad de Amberes, Bélgica, puede ser principalmente conocida por su puerto, catedral y comercio de diamantes, pero cualquiera que rasque un poco más allá de la superficie puede encontrar una escena subterránea en auge. Especialmente en los últimos años, la gran producción de bandas de hardcore y garage punk hace pensar que, además de la masiva contaminación por PFAS y los niveles récord de residuos de cocaína, debe haber algo en el agua.Mitraille irrumpió en esta escena en 2018 con un sonido que toma la energía desbordante del hardcore de sótano moderno y la inyecta en una variante de garage y post-punk enfermo. Piensa en Uranium Club si fueran roadies de Motörhead con problemas de manejo de la ira. La banda ha estado arrasando en toda Europa desde el primer día, lanzando tres EPs y un álbum completo en el proceso.En septiembre de 2024 se lanzó su segundo disco completo ‘MITRAILLE’: veintitrés minutos de garage punk a toda velocidad, con incursiones en powerpop ruidoso, hardcore demoledor y psicodelia, post-punk psicodélico y pegadizo y, bueno, velocidad por el gusto de la velocidad. El álbum fue publicado en vinilo por las potencias belgas Belly Button Records y Ronny Rex, y la alemana Spastic Fantastic Records. Impresionó a Evan Minsker (ex-Pitchfork) lo suficiente como para incluirlo en su lista de ‘Mejores Canciones Punk de septiembre de 2024’. Con el nuevo álbum bajo el brazo y un apetito insaciable por tocar en vivo, el trío se embarca en su año más ocupado hasta ahora. Mitraille está listo para difundir el evangelio del garagecore belga una vez más.

The city of Antwerp, Belgium may be primarily known for its harbour, cathedral and diamond
trade, but anyone who scratches beneath the surface can find a thriving underground scene.
Especially in the last few years the great output of hardcore and garage punk bands makes
one suspect that – besides massive PFAS pollution and record breaking cocaine residue levels

• there must be something in the water.
  Mitraille burst onto this scene in 2018 with a sound that takes the bursting-at-the-seams
  energy of modern day basement hardcore and injects it into a strain of diseased garage- and
  post punk. Think Uranium Club if they were Motörhead roadies with anger management
  issues. The band has been shredding its way through Europe since day one, releasing three
  EP’s and a full album in the process.
  September 2024 saw the release of second full-length ‘MITRAIILLE’: twenty-three minutes of
  full throttle garage punk, with ventures into noisy powerpop, pummeling hardcore, psychy,
  catchy post-punk and – well – speed for speed’s sake. The album was put out on vinyl by
  Belgian powerhouses Belly Button Records and Ronny Rex, and Germany’s Spastic Fantastic
  Records. It impressed Evan Minsker (ex-Pitchfork) enough to put it in his ‘Best Punk Songs of
  September 2024’ list.
  With the brand new album under their arm, and an insatiable appetite for performing live, the
  trio is embarking on their busiest year yet.
  Mitraille is ready to spread the Belgian garagecore gospel once more
