{"id":2243,"date":"2026-07-30T11:40:50","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T09:40:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rockbeerthenew.com\/index.php\/events\/to-yo\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T22:47:00","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T20:47:00","slug":"to-yo","status":"publish","type":"ajde_events","link":"https:\/\/www.rockbeerthenew.com\/index.php\/events\/to-yo\/","title":{"rendered":"T\u014c Y\u014c"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">T\u014d Y\u014d, the Tokyo-based psychedelic quartet, has announced their debut record Stray Birds From the Far East\u2014a dreamy, pop-infused psych\/acid rock concept album about nostalgia for a place yet to be discovered\u2014to be released through King Volume Records on August 18, 2023.<br>The T\u014d Y\u014d sound is simultaneously unique yet familiar\u2014but it\u2019s also moving. \u201cOur psychedelic sound is at times violent and at times naive,\u201d says vocalist and guitarist Masami Makinom, \u201cbut we also believe our sound is meant to awaken the most primitive senses in order to sublimate<br>the rise of the soul and its uncontrollable impulses.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">T\u014d Y\u014d is an ambitious band with an ambitious vision, so it\u2019s no surprise some of their biggest influences are known for complex, groundbreaking visions; Far East Family Band, J. A.
